The Software Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and partners in designing, developing as well as implementing/deploying a variety of software applications, managing projects, and providing technical support to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- To implement Business Software, working as a team in all phases of the project implementation life cycle, which includes:-
a. Project preparation
b. Business requirement gathering
c. System design & analysis
d. System Testing and User Training - To provide post implementation support which includes:-
a. Application installation and configuration
b. Troubleshooting
c. Report writing using Crystal Report and/or SQL
d. Supporting and managing Microsoft SQL Server
Requirements:
- Applicants must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma or Degree in any IT disciplines, preferably with knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Windows Server Platform.
- Applicants with experience in implementing / supporting financial accounting software and/or ERP software is an added advantage.
- Applicants with programming skills is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders of all levels.
- Applicants must possess good command of written and spoken English. Ability to communicate in other languages is an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

Requirements:
Academic Qualification, Skills & Work Experience
- Possess a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field, with minimum 2 years of related working experience.
- Those with Certificate, Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma holders with at least 5 years related working experience in ICT support may apply.
- Possess knowledge on networking and server OS, preferably with hands-on experience in support, designing and implementing IT networks, backup and security systems.
- Possess at least Intermediate knowledge on Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to implement, configure, support / administer Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 will be an added advantage.
- Possess good analytical & troubleshooting skills, able to resolve issues and identify root cause.
